Fred Nations, J Dot, Andy Establishment and LinQ talk about Hulk Hogan suing Gawker and what the future of privacy looks like with the recent rapid advancement of modern technology and the information super highway. They also summarise a months worth of news with some super fun segments like 'Choose the News', 'Who's Dead First?', and 'They Said What' and arousing discussion about Vince McMahon, Connor Macgregor, Brussels Terror, Rape and False Accusation, Australian farmers wanting to grow Cannabis, Chernobyl, the Arab world, Lead Water in USA, the Real World Map and so much more....

Moore’s Law: “Processing power doubles about every 2 years while prices are halved.”

Gilder’s Law: “Network bandwidth doubles every six months.”

Less’s Law: “The cost of storage is falling by half every 12 months, while capacity doubles.”

Is the future a fearful dystopian nightmare or is the current direction of enlightenment the way there? We'll see as we travel in time together, towards the future we go and keep going forever. We know that it all must end on some poor day but hopefully not before some ball tickling and foreplay. With modern technology changing our focus will we fight off the plague and defeat all the locusts? All of the above is answered in Episode 114 so support us like we're your Dad's favourite sport team. Join us and laugh hell nobodies perfect, you just might learn something and then it'll be worth it.

Our bodies are these wiggly biological organisms, they came from another organism's jism, and while we might see our bodies as a biological prison, without them we'd be in a spiritual schism. For they are the only reason we exist, if we uploaded consciousness would life still persist? Or would we just be a non-feeling clone of ourselves, a cheap imitation with no further to delve.

Drunk Australians

@highhorseradio on twitter for any feedback or topics that you'd like discussed...

Fred Nation, J Dot, Andy Establishment, Phoenix Ppardoshe and LinQ! Full Panel!! We had every intention of hitting on a bunch of segments new and old alike, but we delved into so many sidebars that the destination was never reached.

Imagine a movie where a group of 5 friends are trying to get to a football game, but a bunch of whacky adventures and comedic mishaps mean they never make it. The group are initially bummed but they soon realise that their night was actually more fun then if they had have got to the game. It's certainly more fun for the viewer. In your case - listener.

If you want to listen to a show where everything goes smoothly, where boring sober minded uppity types repeat a bunch of talking points they heard on the TV, then this show is not for you.

This show is raw and authentic. 5 original but crass thinkers converge with the rhythm and tension that only life long friends have.

Topics are discussed in ways you haven't heard them discussed before. A fresh take on Trump, Immigration, Cultured Meat, North Korea, Steven Fry, Alan Jones and heaps more stuff is what happens in this episode.

It's cohesive enough to listen to, but chaotic enough to know that something special is happening.

Because something special is happening. Life is passing us by, from event to event, idea to idea, we are but dreamers catching a glimpse of the imagery before casting ourselves down for the forever sleep. In our mortal coil of indignation, we record our voices for all time. Well, maybe not for all time, but perhaps somewhere within the giant databanks of our modern civilisation, this conversation will live on, long after we are gone. Maybe some kid in 2417 will get a kick out of this. He will wonder what became of us. And he will use his technology to bring us back to life so we can be his own personal podcast pals. Where ever he goes, we will follow him, talking shit and arguing. Until he gets a girlfriend. and switches us off.

London, California, Finland - Disturbing Truths

@highhorseradio on twitter for any feedback or topics that you'd like discussed...

Fred Nation, Andy Establishment and J Dot take us through the 'Gallop' Episode, which is a continuation of Ep 110. By Continuation i mean it's recorded on the same night, so the panelists are a bit more liberated and way more contro.

Disturbing Truths (and delightful realisations) about London, California and Finland are spoken about with plenty of fun and hilarious detours, always heading towards the roads less travelled.

Plenty of awesome facts, philosophy, sophistry and prophecy by the denizens of curios bellicosity. Squeezing juice from the lemon tree of sanity in society by soothing the anxiety with a light touch of non sobriety.

So enjoy it, it's for you, if enjoying things is what you do. Or leave it, and catch us later, if you prefer being a hater. Either way we're here to play, come join us or drift away. okaaaaaaay
